PM Job Summary:
We are a busy ophthalmology surgical group in East Boise seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing patient accounts in a medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient accounts and billing inquiries Perform medical coding and accurately post charges Prepare and transmit primary insurance claims. Coordinate secondary claim information and send claims Resolve any insurance payment discrepancies, research, correct or refile denied claims Provide quotes to patients Handle collections and payment processing Answer incoming patient and insurance calls Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications:
Prior experience in medical billing (ophthalmology experience preferred) Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding (CPT/ICD-10), and insurance processes Excellent communication and customer service skills Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
