Beelman Truck Co. is hiring for an experienced Billing Clerk at our main office located at Highway 255 and Route 15 in East St. Louis, Illinois. We are a large, dry bulk transportation company looking for the right person to join our busy, high-volume accounting team. This is a full time, in-office position.

Schedule :

7:00am to 3:30pm

Pay :

$24/hour Job Responsibilities

• Utilizes computer programs to process data regarding loads and delivery from drivers, dispatchers, and other sources
• Checks data for accuracy and consistency
• Inputs data into billing system to assist in process of generating invoices
• Provides support/back-up to the Accounting Staff and Executives
• Must be willing and able to perform all other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned by management. Job Requirements
• 2-5 years of experience in a billing department, preferably in a transportation/trucking environment
• Associate's Degree in accounting, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy
• Ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and/or ratios
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Ability to speak, read, and communicate using the English language
• Ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods with frequent interruptions and adaptable to changes in priorities
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
