In this vital role, you will coordinate and expedite shipments to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory flow. Your efforts will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support order fulfillment accuracy, and uphold trade compliance standards. Duties Monitor shipping schedules and coordinate with carriers to expedite outbound shipments efficiently Receive and unload materials using forklifts, front end loaders and other equipment Track inbound and outbound freight using local communication and ERP systems Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for domestic and international shipments in compliance with trade regulations Maintain accurate data entry related to shipping logistics, inventory management software, and order fulfillment records Communicate proactively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve shipping delays or discrepancies Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance standards for international trade regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners Prior experience with ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping Join us as a Shipping Expeditor to play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly!
