Position Summary We are seeking motivated and dependable Medical Coding & Billing Specialists to join our team. Responsibilities Review and accurately code medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines. Submit and manage insurance claims for multiple medical specialties. Follow up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely. Reconcile payment discrepancies and identify billing issues. Verify coding accuracy and compliance with payer regulations. Work within multiple practice management and EHR software systems. Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and clients as needed. Assist with account resolution and revenue cycle management activities. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards. Perform other billing and coding duties as assigned. Qualifications Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred but not required. Previous medical coding and/or medical billing experience preferred. Payment posting experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and claim submission processes. Ability to learn and navigate various practice management and EHR systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
