NEED TO HAVE WORKED WITH ECW BILLING SYSTEM MON - FRI 8AM TO 4PM

Responsible for entering demographic information, submitting claims, and following up with various Insurance companies. Other duties include accessing client EHR systems and preparing the necessary documents for claim submissions. Additional clerical duties as requested.

Essential Functions :

Prepare and electronically submit claims to insurance companies. Conduct appropriate follow-up to ensure claims are accepted by the insurance company. Submit requested medical reports and follow up to ensure documents are received. Answer telephone calls from patients with questions about their bills. Prepare, review, and transmit patient statements. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Special projects as assigned by Management.

Education :

High School Diploma Skills/Experience :

Knowledge of Medical Manager and e-Clinical Works preferred. Knowledge of medical billing and PC functionality. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, clients, and fellow employees. Must be a team player. Salary commensurate with experience.
