Job Description
Crescent Regional Hospital is seeking a qualified Workers' Comp Collector Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
All hospital Workers' Comp claims follow up Work denials and appeals in a timely and accurate fashion Work in various online systems to gather information and/or process appeals Answering questions from patients, medical support staff, and insurance companies A/R managementQualifications:
Minimum of 1 year Workers' Comp billing and accounts receivable experience Thorough knowledge of how to read Explanation of Benefits and other payer correspondence Working knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Codes Practical experience with various online systems, including checking claim status, reviewing EOBs, checking eligibility, and/or processing appeals/corrected claims Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines; strong organizational and follow-up skills; sharp attention to detail; willingness to cross-train in other areas as necessary Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and interpersonally, with payers and other management professionals Practical experience withWord and Excel Schedule:
Monday through Friday, full/daytime position with a 30-minute lunch.Work Location:
