Job Description
Description Our client in the Galleria area is looking for an AR Analyst to join them team on a long term contract basis. This role will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including billing, cash application, collections, and account maintenance. Monitor customer accounts and proactively investigate outstanding balances, deductions, and payment discrepancies. Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner. Analyze aging reports and provide recommendations to reduce DSO and improve cash flow. Research and resolve billing disputes while partnering with customers and internal stakeholders. Prepare AR reporting and metrics for management review. Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with audit requests and documentation related to receivables. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within AR operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, or AR Analysis experience. Strong account reconciliation and problem-solving skills. Experience working with ERP systems; Workday experience strongly preferred. Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments. Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
