Job Description

We're seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist to support our client's team. This role focuses on ensuring digital content complies with accessibility standards and laws. This is an excellent opportunity to impact digital inclusion through strategic and technical expertise. The position is on-site in Wilmington, Delaware.
Digital Accessibility Specialist Responsibilities:
Evaluate digital products to identify accessibility issues using various tools and assistive technologies. Analyze code components such as HTML, ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, and others to diagnose root causes of accessibility barriers. Ensure compliance with WCAG, ADA, Section 508, PDF/UA, and related accessibility standards. Collaborate with design and development teams to implement accessibility improvements. Maintain knowledge of accessibility laws, best practices, and emerging trends.
Digital Accessibility Specialist Qualifications:
Deep understanding of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, PDF/UA, and similar standards/laws. Proven ability to inspect code and identify accessibility issues in HTML, ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. Experience operating desk- and mobile-screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, Talkback. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work independently with high attention to detail.
