Insurance Authorization Specialist Well established ophthalmology practice in Vigo County focused on advanced delivery of medical and surgical retina care, is seeking an experienced Insurance Authorization Specialist who can also assist in other matters such as insurance authorization, patient account services, patient care, and administrative assistance. Highland Retina Associates offers high quality care to patients with complicated retinal conditions who have been referred to our practice by other ophthalmologists and optometrists throughout western Indiana and eastern Illinois. It is the only surgical retina practice in Vigo County. • Experience Verifying Insurance Eligibility and Obtaining Authorizations.
• Full time position with generous benefits.
• Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
• Multi-tasking and being detail oriented is a must
• Experience in electronic medical records (MDI/IntelleChart) and practice management system (PracticeAdmin) is a plus
• Will stay current with payers' billing guidelines and regulations to assure clean claims
