$42,000
  • $48,000 depending on experience and qualifications Position Summary Interface Network is seeking a full-time Marketplace and Healthier Oregon Program Outreach and Enrollment Specialist to provide linguistically (Spanish) and culturally responsive outreach, education, enrollment assistance, healthcare navigation, and community engagement services.
50% of the employee's time will be dedicated to Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace tasks and 50% to Healthier Oregon Program tasks . The tasks are similar, and the target communities include the Latino Spanish-speaking community. The Specialist will work directly with individuals and families, community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, nonprofit organizations, and other partners to increase awareness of available health coverage, assist eligible individuals with enrollment, and help community members navigate healthcare coverage and related resources. 1.   • Conduct outreach, information dissemination, education, and enrollment activities through Interface Network's Salem and Woodburn offices and at community fairs, outreach events, partner locations, schools, churches, nonprofit organizations, healthcare facilities, and other community locations.   • Educate individuals and families about the Marketplace and Healthier Oregon health coverage options, eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and available resources.
  • Provide culturally and linguistically responsive enrollment and navigation assistance to eligible individuals and families.
  • Respond to telephone calls, inquiries, and referrals and schedule appointments for individuals seeking Marketplace and Healthier Oregon assistance.
  • Provide follow-up assistance to clients as needed to help them complete the enrollment process and understand next steps.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other partners to conduct outreach, strengthen referral networks, and connect individuals with appropriate services.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of culturally and linguistically appropriate marketing, educational, and outreach materials.
  • Outreach
  • Attend community meetings, conduct neighborhood canvassing, participate in outreach events, and deliver informational presentations.
  • Collect and maintain accurate program and participant information/data for program evaluation, performance monitoring, and required reporting.
  • Participate in Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace and Healthier Oregon webinars, trainings, regional meetings, technical assistance sessions, and other required professional development activities.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable requirements for protecting personal and health-related information.
  • Learn to use the One System.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records and program documentation.
  • Track outreach contacts, enrollment assistance, referrals, appointments, community events, presentations, and other required performance measures.
  • Participate in internal staff meetings, program planning, training, quality improvement, and performance evaluation activities.
  • Represent Interface Network at community events, meetings, and partner activities.
  • Perform other related duties necessary to successfully achieve program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of time dedicated to each program, with approximately 50% allocated to Marketplace tasks and 50% to Healthier Oregon Program tasks . Qualifications Required/Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
  • Experience in community outreach, healthcare enrollment, healthcare navigation, human services, public health, social services, or a related field preferred, especially as it relates to the Latino Spanish speaking community.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, especially as it relates to the Latino Spanish speaking community.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable and respectful manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage appointments, follow-up activities, documentation, and multiple program responsibilities.
  • Ability to accurately collect, enter, maintain, and report program data.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to attend community events and meetings outside the primary office when necessary. At times outside the regular 8:00 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. hours.
  • Experience working with community-based organizations and historically underserved populations preferred.
  • Computer Skills
  • WORD, EXCEL, Adobe, and ability to learn state enrollment and reporting systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive client information.
  • Must be able to drive, have a car, and a valid driver's license.
  • Background check required.
