Job Description

  • Please ensure you have read the job description fully prior to applying
  • The firm is currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join their team as an Executive Assistant to the managing partner.
This position is based ON-SITE around the corner from Grand Central Station (10017). The individual must have prior experience working 1-on-1 with a C-Suite member as opposed to servicing a Team. The individual needs a mature mindset and to be extremely resilient as the office becomes very busy around Tax seasons. Tensions and voices can raise so it is important to feel comfortable in that environment. Please note that as part of the application process you may be required to take part in online assessments mostly around Microsoft skills. About the
Firm:
This boutique New York law tax firm specializes in representing high-net-worth clients for income tax planning and preparation. Established circa 40 years ago, the firm acts for many repeat customers and employs 11 professionals at a single location. They work extremely hard and all have a resilient, traditional mindset.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare memos, letters, and other documents using various software tools
  • Answer all incoming and outgoing calls, maintain logs, and resolve client inquiries
  • Serve as gatekeeper, schedule appointments, and prepare the partner for meetings, including managing personal calendar
  • Manage the partner's email account, respond when appropriate, and flag outstanding items
  • Assist with organizing tax files, addressing tax notices, and supporting tax-related projects
  • Track projects and deadlines, ensuring timely completion
  • Greet clients and build relationships to ensure their needs are met
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Manage the partner's investment portfolio, including completing subscriptions and filing claims in class action lawsuits
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the managing partner
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must have attended Physically opposed to Virtually
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience supporting C-Level executives
  • Tax or accounting office experience is a plus but not required
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
INDSUP Pay:
$90,000.00
