Duties Maintain and update the litigation calendar, including court deadlines, filing dates, and client appointments. Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in accordance with procedural law requirements across various jurisdictions. Organize and manage electronic filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of case files. Review incoming documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court rules; perform data entry to update case records efficiently. Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and other stakeholders to confirm upcoming deadlines and ensure timely submissions. Assist with legal research using Westlaw and other resources to support case development when needed. Proofread legal documents for clarity, accuracy, and proper formatting; support legal writing and drafting tasks as required. Qualifications Proven experience supporting litigation or legal administrative functions in a law office setting. Strong knowledge of procedural law across civil litigation. Proficiency with legal support software including calendaring software, Westlaw, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and document review tools. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for client correspondence and coordinating with internal teams; professional phone etiquette required. Experience handling confidential information with discretion; familiarity with legal research techniques is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge of general & commercial litigation procedures along with familiarity in legal drafting and proofreading is highly desirable.
