Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented
TWO WEEK
File Clerk to support document management operations for a services organization in New York, New York. This is a Contract position focused on organizing physical and digital records with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will help maintain orderly filing systems, process scanned materials, and ensure records are easy to retrieve when needed.Responsibilities:
- Scan paper records and other materials into digital format while maintaining image clarity and completeness
- Assign accurate names and labels to electronic files so documents can be stored and retrieved efficiently
- Review scanned records to confirm pages are captured correctly and meet quality standards
- Organize and maintain physical filing systems to keep records accessible and up to date
- File electronic documents in designated folders and systems according to established procedures
- Identify missing, unclear, or incomplete records and escalate issues for resolution when necessary
