Job Description Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage and organize schedules, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Maintain and update legal files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to facilitate case progress. Assist in the preparation of legal pleadings, briefs, and contracts. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Track deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure timely submissions and filings. Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth departmental operations. The Successful Applicant A successful Legal Secretary should have: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
