Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy in dental coding, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is crucial in facilitating the financial operations of our organization while providing excellent service to our clients. Duties Prepare and submit accurate medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients. Review patient records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary documentation is included. Utilize coding systems such as DRG, ICD-10, and ICD-9 to ensure proper billing practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, billing regulations, and coding guidelines. Follow up on unpaid claims and manage the medical collection process effectively. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies in billing or coding. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to medical billing and coding. Maintain organized medical records and documentation for auditing purposes. Experience Proven experience in medical billing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9) and terminology is essential. Experience with medical records management and understanding of healthcare systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare staff.
