Description We are seeking an experienced Denials Specialist to support revenue cycle operations with a strong focus on accounts receivable (A/R) and insurance denials management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in eClinicalWorks and a proven background researching, appealing, and resolving denied and underpaid claims.

Monday

• Friday 8:30am
• 5:30pm (8:30am
• 3pm on Fridays)

Key Responsibilities:

+ Review, analyze, and resolve insurance claim denials in a timely manner

+ Work A/R follow-up for outstanding claims and unpaid balances

+ Identify denial trends and root causes to support process improvement

+ Submit corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals as needed

+ Follow up with payers regarding claim status, underpayments, and reimbursement delays

+ Document account activity accurately in eClinicalWorks

+ Collaborate with billing, coding, and front-end staff to prevent recurring denials

+ Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while meeting deadlines Requirements + 2+ years of experience in denials management and A/R follow-up

+ Recent hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks is required

+ Strong understanding of medical billing, EOBs, ERA remits, payer guidelines, and appeals

+ Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid claim denial resolution

+ Ability to work denied claims from identification through resolution

+ Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and follow-up abilities

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in a physician practice, medical group, or outpatient setting

+ Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
