Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for billing processes, and sending appeals on denied claims. Duties Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients. Review and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical records for accuracy. Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures. Send appeals to insurance for denied claims. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, billing regulations, and coding practices. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations related to billing practices. Skills Proficiency in medical billing systems and software applications. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
