This is a hands-on position responsible for customer service, payment processing, basic bookkeeping, and administrative coordination. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, keeps accurate records, and helps daily operations run smoothly while working directly with the owner. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day front-office operations and administrative tasks. Greet customers, explain services and pricing, and provide friendly, professional assistance. Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts. Balance the register, reconcile daily transactions, and prepare daily sales summaries. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly. Communicate customer service selections to the wash team and provide customers with updates. Record daily sales and expenses, organize receipts, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records. Track invoices and outstanding payments, flagging items that need the owner's attention. Prepare organized financial records for the owner or accountant. Maintain business files and monitor office supply needs. Address routine customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Keep the front office and customer waiting area organized and presentable. Identify administrative issues and recommend practical improvements. Qualifications Previous experience in office management, office administration, or a similar hands-on role. Experience handling payments and balancing a cash register. Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping. Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and point-of-sale systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle a busy environment. Bookkeeping software experience is a plus.
Pay:
