We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related healthcare business office environment. The Business Office Manager plays an important role in the daily operation of our community, supporting resident accounts, billing, accounts receivable, collections, payroll, employee records, benefits administration, onboarding, and general business office operations. If you have experience as a Business Office Manager, Business Office Coordinator, Healthcare Office Manager, Senior Living Business Office Manager, Assisted Living Business Office Manager, Payroll Coordinator, Resident Accounts Coordinator, or healthcare administrative professional, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day Business Office operations Maintain accurate resident and employee records Support resident billing, accounts receivable, payment posting, and collections Monitor resident accounts and follow up on outstanding balances Research and help resolve billing and resident account discrepancies Communicate professionally with residents and families regarding account questions Support payroll processes and maintain accurate payroll-related information Maintain employee files and confidential employment documentation Assist with employee onboarding and required paperwork Support employee benefits administration and related documentation Maintain accurate records, reports, and Business Office tracking Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders Communicate with regional and corporate support teams as needed Assist employees, residents, and families with Business Office questions Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and financial information Ensure deadlines and required Business Office processes are completed accurately and on time Support additional administrative and community projects as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, follow-through, and excellent customer service in a senior living Business Office.
Strong candidates will have:
Previous Business Office Manager or related healthcare administrative experience Experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare, or a similar environment strongly preferred Experience with resident billing and accounts receivable Experience with collections and account reconciliation Experience supporting payroll processes Experience maintaining employee and personnel records Experience with benefits administration or employee benefits documentation Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong written and verbal communication Ability to research discrepancies and follow issues through resolution Professionalism when communicating with residents, families, employees, and leadership Ability to maintain confidential financial, resident, and employee information Dependability, sound judgment, and strong follow-through Senior Living & Healthcare Experience Matters We are especially interested in candidates who understand the unique Business Office needs of a senior living or healthcare environment.
