Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Front Office Supervisor at
WEST COAST EAR NOSE & THROAT INC
plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office within the healthcare setting. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the front office staff, managing patient interactions, and maintaining an efficient workflow to support the delivery of high-quality health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front office staff to ensure efficient and effective operations. Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations to optimize service delivery and patient satisfaction. Ensure that all patient inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Oversee the maintenance of patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations. Implement and monitor front office procedures to enhance productivity and streamline operations. Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate communication and coordination within the practice. Train and mentor front office staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional development. Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality. Assist in resolving any operational issues that may arise, providing solutions to maintain service quality. Uphold the standards and policies of

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or higher in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role. Proven experience in managing front office operations, including scheduling, patient registration, and customer service. Experience in a medical practice or clinic environment is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure efficient office operations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
