Job Description

Full-Time | Glass Shop Front Office Manager We are looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Front Office Manager to join our team. We are a busy glass company serving both commercial and residential customers. Our work ranges from installing commercial aluminum doors, storefronts, and windows in new construction and remodels to replacing broken residential window glass and cutting desktops and glass for picture frames. This is a hands-on office position for someone who enjoys working with customers, keeping things organized, and making sure the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly.
Responsibilities Customer Service:
Provide friendly, professional service to customers in person and over the phone. Answer questions, take orders, and help customers with their glass and window needs.
Daily Office Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the front office, including answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, taking orders, preparing paperwork, and scheduling jobs.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Coordinate with the General Manager and field staff to keep jobs and customer commitments organized and on schedule.
Office Staff:
Provide direction and oversight to our part-time receptionist/office assistant.
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
Handle day-to-day A/R and A/P responsibilities, including invoicing, payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Payroll:
Collect and report employee payroll hours to our main accounting office.
Communication:
Keep the General Manager and Owner informed about customer needs, scheduling, office issues, and other day-to-day operations. Qualifications & Experience Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment Comfortable working with customers, employees, vendors, and management Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily responsibilities At least 1 year of business office or administrative experience required At least 1 year of accounting experience preferred Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Strong computer and internet skills Previous experience in a construction, glass, window, or similar service-related business is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can become a key part of our team—someone who is dependable, organized, friendly with customers, and comfortable taking initiative. The right person will enjoy a varied workday and be able to move easily between customer service, scheduling, accounting, and general office responsibilities.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
