Job Description

Carousel Oceanfront Resort Hotel & Condominiums, a premier destination in Ocean City, MD, is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering outstanding guest experiences and help lead a team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment with opportunities for professional growth. About the Role In this hands-on leadership position, you'll support the Front Office Manager with day-to-day front desk operations and team supervision. You'll be a go-to for guest service excellence, employee engagement, and problem-solving—making sure everything runs smoothly from check-in to check-out.
Job Responsibilities Lead and Supervise:
Step in for the Front Office Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and team guidance.
Guest Experience & Problem-Solving:
Resolve guest complaints and ensure a positive experience for guests and employees alike.
Team Communication & Performance:
Communicate team goals, manage corrective actions, and ensure compliance with policies.
Operational Excellence:
Manage daily front desk operations, ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with managers and team members to ensure goals and tasks are prioritized and achieved.
Conflict Resolution:
Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances in a professional and effective manner.
Customer Recognition:
Ensure customer recognition programs are implemented and the process is followed.
Compliance & Policy Adherence:
Ensure all front office policies and standards are adhered to.
