WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You might be a:
Healthcare or medical office professional ready to step into leadership Operations or business manager drawn to a mission-driven, patient-first environment Customer service or hospitality leader who wants to bring that same care to healthcare Team lead or supervisor from any industry with a passion for wellness and community Someone who has experienced the power of holistic, natural healthcare firsthand and wants to help others find it too If you lead with heart, think like an owner, and love helping both people and processes run better — we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
This role isn't a checklist — it's a set of outcomes you'll be trusted to drive. As Office Manager, you'll own: Practice Operations. You'll run the day-to-day of a thriving clinic — building the systems, policies, and procedures that let our doctors focus on patients instead of paperwork. Team Leadership. You'll hire, train, and coach a front desk and support team that reflects our values, running the meetings and setting the tone for a culture people are proud to work in. Patient Experience. You'll be the person patients remember — resolving concerns with empathy, tracking satisfaction, and building the kind of loyalty that turns new patients into lifelong ones. Scheduling & Patient Flow. You'll own the calendar: efficient scheduling, accurate insurance verification, and a front office that runs smoothly even on the busiest days. Financial Performance. You'll oversee collections, billing accuracy, and office budgets, and report the numbers that show the practice — and your leadership — is working. Growth & Community. You'll help fuel new patient growth through outreach, reviews, and marketing partnerships that spread our mission across Lansing. Facilities & Vendors. You'll keep supplies stocked, equipment running, and vendor relationships strong, so the clinic never misses a beat. Metrics That Matter. You'll track the KPIs that count — new patient volume, retention, collections, staff productivity — and report progress directly to the Clinic Director.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Required 3+ years leading a team or managing daily operations (healthcare experience a plus, not required) Excellent communication and people skills Comfortable learning new software and systems High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred) Experience with EHR or practice management software Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and collections Nice to Have Background in a chiropractic, physical therapy, rehab, or wellness setting The Traits That Matter Most You lead with empathy and hold people to a high standard — at the same time You see problems before they happen and fix them without being asked You care about the numbers because they mean patients are being helped You're calm under pressure and steady when the day gets busy
