Job Description
Job Summary The Office Manager / Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This role provides administrative support to staff and management, manages office resources, and helps maintain an organized and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations and ensure everything runs efficiently Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when needed Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records Coordinate office maintenance, vendors, and service providers Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoices, expense reports, and budgeting support Support management with special projects and administrative tasks Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office manager, or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Experience with office management software or CRM systems Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and customer service skills Work Environment Typically office-based with standard business hours May require occasional overtime depending on workload
