In this multifaceted role, you will work closely with ownership to handle bookkeeping, streamline logistics, support human resources, and help grow our business.
Key Responsibilities Financial Operations:
Manage monthly P&Ls, payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and data accuracy using QuickBooks.Sales & Marketing:
Drive customer growth through social media (including Facebook Marketplace), cold calling, mailers, and expanding pallet sales and procurement.Logistics & Inventory:
Handle daily Chep reconciliations, update portals, schedule inbound/outbound loads, and track inventory and supplies.Sustainability Initiatives:
Identify secondary uses for pallet scraps to reduce landfill waste.HR & Administration:
Oversee new hire orientations, maintain employee records, track safety training, coordinate drug testing/physicals, and manage employee incentives alongside ownership.Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong connections with customers, vendors, and government contract agencies while maintaining strict confidentiality.Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven experience in general accounting (P&L, invoicing, payroll), database/portal management, and sales or customer relations.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and social media platforms.Core Competencies:
Strong communication, reasoning, and relationship-building skills.License:
A valid driver's licensePay:
