The firm specializes in representing licensed professionals such as doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, construction professionals, as well as municipalities engaged in complex litigation. The firm is seeking to add an Associate Office Manager to assist the Executive Office Manager in the Syracuse office. The candidate will support the Executive Office Manager's day-to-day office operations in key areas such as recruitment, human resources, onboarding, billing and accounting, payroll, IT, and outside vendor management. The exact responsibilities will be a function of the ongoing needs of the office and the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Legal Billing and Bookkeeping:
Assist in the preparation and submission of client invoices Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the invoice submission process Receive, track and apply payments to accounts Maintain internal database of clients and their billing compliance requirements Account reconciliations Other bookkeeping duties, as assigned
Human Resources:
Maintain confidential HR and employee files Assist in administration of benefits, onboarding/offboarding, leave, payroll Manage recruiting activities Organize required employee training Other human resources duties, as assigned
Logistics & Vendor Management:
Coordinate with outside vendors for services Support firm's technology needs, including system oversight and troubleshooting Assist with distributing mail, answering phones, reception coverage Other duties, as assigned
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS INCLUDE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, human resources, or related field Experience in a trusted supervisory or administrative role handling confidential data and information Knowledge of legal billing systems or other profession specific industry billing Experience with Clio, a plus Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Demonstrated ability to be proactive and engage in planning and organization To apply, please send your resume and letter of interest to .

WORK SETTING
In-person PAY:
$50,000-$60,000 per year, DOE
NEW HIRE INCENTIVE
Receive a $1,500.00 bonus upon successful completion of your first 90 days of employment.
