Dental Office Manager As an established dental practice, we are looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee both administrative and financial operations while supporting daily clinical workflows. This role holds primary responsibility for the financial health of the office, in addition to managing front-office systems, staff performance, and patient coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong dental office experience, demonstrated financial management skills, and the ability to oversee operational and financial responsibilities with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion.
Primary areas of responsibility include:
Oversight of scheduling, patient flow, and front-office procedures with attention to financial efficiency Management of administrative systems, documentation, and office workflows tied to revenue cycle performance Presentation of dental services, treatment plans, and detailed financial arrangements to patients Direct responsibility for office financial operations, including billing, collections, insurance processing, and payment posting Monitoring accounts receivable, identifying trends, and addressing financial discrepancies Tracking office financial performance and supporting budgetary, production, and profitability goals Training and supporting administrative staff on financial protocols, billing accuracy, and insurance procedures Professional background requirements: Minimum of two years' experience in a dental office environment with financial exposure Previous supervisory or operational leadership experience with financial accountability Hands-on experience with dental billing, insurance verification, claims management, and collections Strong working knowledge of dental practice management software and financial reporting tools Proficiency with standard office applications used for financial tracking and communication Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills related to office finances Attributes associated with success in this role: High level of organization and financial accuracy Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and office financial controls Professional demeanor, reliability, and discretion when handling financial information Ability to manage competing operational and financial priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative approach to team leadership, accountability, and financial performance Comfort communicating financial information clearly to both patients and staff Bilingual abilities are considered an asset.
