Job Summary Lynde Well Drilling is a local, family-owned business. We've been providing our community with high quality water well drilling, water pump & pressure tank installation and water treatment since 1984. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day office operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable handling a variety of administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities in a small business environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy office setting, has strong multi-tasking skills, is comfortable with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks, and can provide quality customer service. This position offers growth potential over time. The successful candidate will become an important part of our team and help ensure the smooth operation of both the office and field activities. Responsibilities Answer phone calls and respond to customer questions professionally or convey their questions to the appropriate person Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable in QuickBooks Maintain company records and filing systems Schedule jobs with customers Manage and order office supplies Ship water samples to the laboratory Data entry Schedule appointments and coordinate office communications Coordinate with Lynde Well Drilling technicians, who are in the field Coordinate with other contractors for specific jobs Occasionally drive parts to the technicians, who are in the field Handle correspondence, emails, and general office administration Support project tracking and record-keeping as needed Other responsibilities, as assigned
Experience Required:
Strong administrative and secretarial skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
