Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines core bookkeeping responsibilities with office management duties, ensuring smooth financial operations and efficient administrative support. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software QuickBooks Online Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational policies Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and ensure proper double-entry bookkeeping practices Assist with financial report writing, budget tracking, and preparing financial statements for internal review Reconcile accounts regularly using spreadsheets and accounting software to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Support office administrative functions including managing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, and coordinating meetings or events Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, ideally within corporate or non-profit organizations Proficiency with accounting software with QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP), financial concepts, and technical accounting procedures Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and journal entries Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), 10-key typing, and data entry accuracy Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll and nonprofit or corporate accounting is a plus Ability to analyze accounts, perform account analysis, and reconcile general ledger accounts effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams Join us if you're eager to leverage your accounting expertise in a supportive environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving.
