Appointment Clerk Echo Global Logistics United States, California, Chino Jul 31, 2026 Roadtex Transportation has become a leader in the nationwide LTL industry, specializing in transporting time and temperature-sensitive products. We handle refrigerated and LTL needs by leveraging no sailing schedules, our nationwide network of 32 strategically placed temperature-controlled facilities, our state-of-the-art tracking, and our specialized equipment and warehousing capabilities. In 2022, Roadtex was acquired by Echo Global Logistics. The acquisition brings a truckload brokerage and expanded transportation management solutions to Roadtex's customers while providing Echo with our national warehouse footprint and advanced temperature-controlled transportation solutions.
Position Overview:
The Appointment Clerk is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and confirming appointments to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Appointment Clerk serves as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule, confirm, and update appointments for customers, clients, or vendors. Communicate professionally via phone, email, and internal systems to coordinate appointment details. Verify necessary information such as availability, service requirements, and documentation. Maintain accurate appointment logs, records, and reports. Follow up on missed or rescheduled appointments to ensure continuity of service. Collaborate with other departments (such as dispatch, operations, or customer service) to ensure smooth scheduling and operational efficiency. Handle inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, administrative support, or customer service. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling or logistics software. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a logistics, transportation, or healthcare environment (depending on industry). Familiarity with CRM or TMS (Transportation Management System) software.
