Tetra Tech is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Diamond Bar, CA office. In this role, you will provide support to the managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will assist with the day-to-day operations of the office by doing tasks such as managing data reports, preparing documents, and providing support to project managers. The pay scale for this position is $22-$30 an hour, based on qualifications and experience.
Your Role :
Greet and communicate with clients in a professional and courteous demeanor Assist with word processing letters and reports, using predefined styles and formatting Edit and format reports in MS Word, Excel, and PDF format Update and audit accounting spreadsheets and databases; perform data entry Prepare expense reports Perform clerical duties Assist and/or make travel arrangements for managers Assist with client billings Provide support services to various departments as needed Must be able to work between the hours of 8 AM - 5
PM Pacific Standard Time Qualifications :
Zero to five years of experience Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of personalities Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Self-motivated High degree of organizational skills Ability to recognize efficient solutions High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college degree preferred

Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and professional telephone etiquette Ability to provide professional client service at the highest level Must be able to support multiple staff using strong time-management and organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) Knowledge of commonly used office practices, procedures, and concepts Follows through on tasks to successful completion Must work well independently with little supervision; high energy self-starter Willing to learn new skills and grow in the job as needed Willing to work overtime on occasion, as necessary Experience in accounting processes is also desirable
