Front Office Assistant Part-time Current Shift Hours Needed for Fall 2026: Mon
  • NONE Tues
  • 8am-10am, 12:45pm-4:30pm Wed
  • 8am-10am Thur
  • 8am-10:45am, 1:45pm-4:30pm Fri
  • NONE If hired, may be asked to occasionally fill in on other days as needed and if available.
Position Description:
Under general direction of the Vice President of Finance and Operations, the Front Office Assistant is responsible for assisting and greeting students and visitors and providing administrative support for faculty and staff.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
 Answer main telephone line and route calls to appropriate offices  Receive, sort, and send daily mail to faculty, staff, and library  Greet and assist visitors  Order and receive supplies  Maintain and update all office calendars  Use and maintain office equipment, such as copier/printer, postage meter, and fax machine  Scan, copy, and recreate documents for faculty and staff  Produce and update the
Student Directory Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree preferred  Two years' progressively-responsible work experience  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing  Effective handling of multiple tasks in a busy environment  Good working knowledge of computer and related software programs including Word, Excel, and database software  Desire and ability to represent WSC in a positive and professional manner and to be able to articulate the confessional beliefs of the seminary  Profession of Christian faith  Willingness and ability to provide excellent customer service to all WSC constituents
