Rocklin, CA Position Summary Construction Testing Services, Inc. (CTS) is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing front office operations, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring the office runs efficiently in a fast-paced construction materials testing and inspection environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist clients, visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and emails. Schedule appointments, meetings, inspections, and field services as needed. Maintain and organize office records, files, and documents. Assist with data entry, report processing, and document distribution. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary. Support project managers, technicians, and administrative staff with clerical duties. Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other business documents. Maintain accurate records using company databases and software systems. Assist with customer inquiries regarding services, scheduling, and general company information. Ensure the reception area and common office spaces remain clean, organized, and professional. Support accounting and payroll departments with administrative tasks as assigned. Perform additional administrative and office support duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of administrative, receptionist, or front office experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in construction, engineering, testing, or related industries is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Professional telephone and email etiquette. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and initiative. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
