POSITION
Intake Coordinator Position Type:
Temporary/Temp-Hire Schedule :
M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Onsite)
Assignment Length:
Approximately 3-Months, possibly longer.
DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Intake Coordinator to support their dispute resolution team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and preferably some knowledge or experience within the California workers' compensation industry. Key Responsibilities Communicate professionally with clients and medical providers Contact providers to obtain bills and medical reports Update proprietary databases with provider and case information Prepare and generate legal documents for filing and service Serve documents to parties and the Appeals Board Retrieve and extract documents from court systems Assist with opening and setting up new files Manage incoming mail and related administrative tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of California Labor Code laws is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach Prior workers' compensation experience preferred INDH
