Duties Manage answering the phones and greeting clients. Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents Perform data entry tasks accurately using spreadsheets and productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Word processing tools and cemetery specific software. Assist the manager in all tasks that needs performing, including supervising some funerals. Support office management tasks including learning to draw and order cemetery markers for families. Provide customer service support by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email and assisting clients or visitors as needed with compassion and digity Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record keeping Skills Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry Excellent computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for effective client interactions. Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software for financial tasks is preferred Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail; excellent time management skills are essential Prior experience in customer service or professionalism and positive client communication Technical proficiency in office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines Ability to be flexible with workload, daily assignments can change quickly Join our team as an Administrative Assistant and be part of the cemetery team.
