Job Description

QOROS Cardiovascular is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant / Front Desk Specialist to join our busy and growing Cardiology private practice team in Titusville, Florida . This position will provide a combination of clinical and front office support in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The primary work location will be our Titusville office , with occasional coverage at our Merritt Island office on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service while supporting efficient daily operations.

Thursday:
8:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m.•1:00 p.m.
Saturday:
Occasional half-day coverage Responsibilities Provide clinical and administrative support to cardiology providers and patients Assist with patient intake, rooming patients, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and clinical documentation Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Support front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out and scheduling Verify insurance information and assist with authorizations as needed Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive patient experience Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare team members Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with additional duties to support practice operations in a high-volume environment Qualifications Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a high-volume healthcare setting preferred Minimum of 1 year of front office experience in a high-volume medical practice or hospital setting preferred New Medical Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply Cardiology experience preferred Previous experience with eClinicalWorks or other electronic health record (EHR) systems required Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations helpful Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required Skills & Attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Exceptional customer service mindset Compassionate and patient-centered approach Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, dependable, and well-organized Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team Why Join QOROS Cardiovascular?
