Performance, Abilities and Standards Medical records Filing. Basic Computer Data entry/typing. Institutes a set of check points to ensure services were provided (Customer Satisfaction Surveys) Participates in facility activities directed to implementation of safety management program, security plan, utility plan, emergency preparedness plan, etc. Responsible for confidentiality issues. Ensures HIPPA guidelines and procedures are maintained. Understands the nature and type of patient/client population serviced. Assists and is aware of responsibilities of all organizations and individuals involved in patients/clients' service including the staff coverage for services rendered. Participates in education conferences, meetings, in-services and training for policy and procedures modifications, emergency response and preparedness plan, organization planning, quality assurance (QAPI) program and company activities improvement. Provides accurate information to clients, clients' families, and other professionals involved in patient's care/service. Complies with all applicable Policies and Procedures, Federal and State rules, regulations and laws in effect. Participates in personal growth and development. Shows good ethic manners. Able to communicate with co-workers, supervisor and executive staff in a professional manner. Shows disposition and initiative on all assigned duties. Daily Duties Sort and handle mail. Greet a variety of visitors, including but not limited to: patients, caregivers, clinicians, referral sources, community health professionals, delivery agents, advertising agents, etc. Answer/Make/Direct phone calls to appropriate parties. Review and update the Orders Manager System on an on-going basis. Work with referral sources and physician teams to ensure required documents are signed and received timely. Upload/File all received documentation timely and accurately. Manage and review incoming applications electronically and in-person. Follow-up with applicants and active staff to ensure documentation is up to date and in-compliance. Ensure all applicants are in compliance with
ACHC, AHCA
standards (Background checks, OIG Exclusions, etc.) Set-up and complete Wellsky/Kinnser profiles for new approved employees. (Roles specific to each discipline) All other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications Graduate of a high school or with some years of high school education (No Diploma required). Evidence of knowledge of home care environment Ability to work under stress and take rapid actions. Verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Computer skills, typing, filing, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power-Point, Outlook) Basic understanding of patient management systems (Preferably Wellsky/Kinnser) Basic interpersonal skills. Customer Service Driven. Physical Requirements No Physical Requirements. Ability to deal with stress and a great workload at times. This job classification will not have a potential risk for occupational exposure to blood, other bodily fluids and potential infections. Lines of authority and reporting responsibilities Reports to the Director of Nursing and Administrators.
