Job Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Administrative Assistant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients, providers, and staff Responsibilities include: Greets individuals who come into Administration Department and answers the telephone to assist callers. Coordinates and accurately schedules Physician, Department, and Executive Staff meetings. Relays accurate information to patients, physicians and staff regarding Clinic policies and procedures where appropriate. Completes correspondence and performs other administrative duties as requested by Executive staff. Types contracts and agreements at the direction of the Executive Staff. Assists Executive Staff with special projects and provider-specific reports. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Gathers financial/operational information and prepares packets for medical Directors' departmental meetings. Maintains administrative files for signed agreements, Board of Director materials, and committee minutes. Maintains electronic files for providers' data. Education High School Diploma, GED or HiSET. Associate degree in Business Administration, Administrative Professional Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Monday -Friday Hours:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Experience Three-years administrative office training and experience in an administrative office environment.
