POSITION

HCV Program Supervisor

LOCATION

Lafayette Housing Authority 2601 Greenbush St Lafayette, IN 47904-2478

SCHEDULE:

Full-Time m-F 8-4:30 SALARY $1956.00 - $2391.00 biweekly

DUTIES:

 Assists with the administration and operation of the HCV Program;  Directly supervises assigned staff, including provided direction, training, workload management, quality review and performance oversight;  Serves as a primary programmatic contact for owner and property managers;  Trains, coaches and supports staff regarding HUD requirements, LHA polices and procedures, case processing, documentation and customer service expectations;  Processes and coordinates new admissions and movers, including required affordability, rent calculations and administrative processing;  Assists with implementation of new and revised HUD Regulations and LHA policies.  Assists with program compliance and internal quality control.  Coordinates participants in the moving process;  Prepares reports and program information for management as requested  Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

 Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent; additional education in public administration business, social services, housing or a related field preferred.  Minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred.  Experience with federally assisted housing programs or comparable regulatory/compliance work strongly preferred.  Must possess a Housing Choice Voucher Specialist Certification or obtain the certification within a timeframe established by LHA;  Ability to read, understand and apply Federal, State and local law, HUD Regulations and LHA policies;  Ability to exercise independent judgement within established policies & procedures The City of Lafayette is an Equal Opportunity Employer
