Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The position provides administrative support to the Large T&S Field Construction Group. The position supports personnel spread across several Evergy facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Administrative support to Large T&S Construction including Project Managers, Real Estate, Field Construction Management, and Substation Construction & Maintenance management teams
  • Prepares special reports, charts, and presentations
  • Assists in planning and coordinating training and safety events
  • Support onboarding of new hires including creating and tracking service requests
  • Create and track facility and IT requests for the supported work groups
  • Prepare monthly expense reports for supported work groups
  • Coordinate travel planning and scheduling for individuals and groups
  • Coordinate facility scheduling and catering for large meetings and events
  • Create requisitions and receipts for vendors
  • Data entry duties as needed
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have administrative support experience supporting diverse operations and working with multiple supervisors.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
Candidate must be very detail oriented and must be able to deal with large volumes of data and maintain a high level of accuracy. Requires strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. PeopleSoft experience or related systems experience is preferred. Must have the ability to apply creative problem solving and sound reasoning. Must be able to deal well with customers, handle multiple priorities, and process information in an accurate, orderly' and timely manner. Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and provide a high level of internal/external customer service.
