Job Summary A growing financial services office in the Shreveport/Bossier City, LA area is seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys supporting daily office operations, communicating with clients, managing records, and helping a busy team stay organized. The Administrative Assistant will join a professional, team-focused office environment with supportive leadership, steady weekday hours, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in administrative support. This position offers variety, stability, and the chance to contribute directly to office efficiency, client service, and team success. Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls while helping maintain office calendars.
- Prepare, organize, update, and maintain files, documents, records, and office information.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to internal teams.
- Assist with basic QuickBooks tasks, including invoicing, data entry, and payment tracking.
- Communicate with internal staff, external clients, and business contacts to support daily office needs. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday.Location:
Shreveport/Bossier City, LA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Support daily office operations, including phones, scheduling, filing, and document management.
- Assist with administrative support, recordkeeping, data entry, and client communication.
- Help maintain organized office workflows and accurate business information.
- Perform basic QuickBooks-related tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and payment tracking.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or related experience.
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Basic QuickBooks experience or the ability to assist with invoicing and payment tracking.
- Proficiency with common office technology, including email, calendars, documents, and data entry.
- Dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team-focused office environment.
- Strong customer service mindset when interacting with clients, coworkers, and business contacts. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a financial services, professional services, banking, insurance, accounting, or similar office environment.
- Familiarity with client records, confidential information, or document management processes.
- Experience supporting calendars, appointments, meetings, and office coordination in a busy business setting.
