We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy, and organized Parish Administrator to manage the daily office operations for both churches. This individual will serve as a vital link between our clergy, lay leaders, and parish communities. Responsibilities •
Office & Communications:
Serve as the primary administrative contact for both parishes via phone and email. •
Worship Bulletins:
Design, format, and print weekly Sunday liturgies, feast days, and special services (such as weddings or funerals) using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) guidelines. •
Microsoft Software Management:
Maintain church records, rosters, and schedules using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs •
Calendar Coordination:
Manage the master facility calendars for both properties, coordinating space usage for parish ministries, vestry meetings, and outside community groups. •
Clergy & Vestry Support:
Assist the Rector/Priest-in-Charge and Wardens with clerical tasks, mailings, and preparing materials for annual parish meetings Directing Billing & Receiving Receive, sort, and distribute daily incoming mail, packages, and office correspondence to the appropriate staff or ministry leaders. Process and route invoices, vendor bills, and expense requests for payment, ensuring they are coded correctly and approved. Act as the primary point of contact for accounts payable and accounts receivable correspondence with vendors and contractors. Qualifications •
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office •
Experience:
administrative or secretarial experience. Prior experience working in a church environment is preferred but not required. •
Skills:
Exceptional organizational abilities, strong written communication skills, and strict adherence to confidentiality regarding pastoral and parish matters. •

Requirements:
Must pass a standard background check and complete the Episcopal Church's Safe Church, Safe Communities training upon hire.
