Fox Run is an independently owned hospital that provides exceptional veterinary care using up-to-date technology and well-maintained equipment. Our diagnostic ability is second to none. We use a team approach, so good communication skills with both coworkers and the public are a must. We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will know how to control the flow of appointments and triage patients to expedite quality medical care in a timely fashion to all our patients. This position gathers information (basic triage) and schedules appointments appropriately while providing friendly and efficient customer service, managing the patient recordkeeping system, and answering phones. Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are requirements of this job. This position will work closely with our Practice Manager to relieve him of some of the daily administrative tasks involved with running a small hospital, such as inventory and marketing.
Responsibilities:
Manages all lobby functions and expedites appointment flow. Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Gather information, accurately enter it into the patient record and scheduling services to maintain an efficient flow of hospital activities. Manage patient records and all associated reminder and payment systems. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Assist staff with cleaning and inventory maintenance throughout the hospital. Knowledgeable of our services and products and able to articulate same to clients. Work with the Practice Manager on marketing events and other administrative tasks. Provide customer service, such as answering questions about services offered and providing directions to the office.
