We are urgently seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our pack as Kennel Technician to help us carry out daily tasks associated with doggie daycare, boarding and grooming guests! Our Kennel Technicians are responsible for our Boarding and Daycare department. Kennel Technician's main responsibility is the daily care of all animals at The Lodge for Pampered Pets. This includes proper cleaning and disinfecting of all rooms to provide a healthy environment for the animals in our care as well as providing our animals with love, compassion, daily exercise, and enrichment. Slobbery kisses are a plus too! This position requires comfort with all sizes and breeds of dogs. We offer a friendly, welcoming, work environment and a strong team of dedicated canine lovers! We are requiring reliable individuals that have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get dirty! The position can be physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time. A successful candidate will be a canine lover, will pay excellent attention to detail, will maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness, and will have the exceptional ability to multitask, time manage, and adapt to change. Job responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Providing a fun, safe environment for guests Ensuring safety of guests by following company policies Bathing/nail trims Always being punctual and willing to learn Prepare food/medication for dogs on pre-set schedule Cleaning and sanitizing fecal and urine accidents Deep cleaning of kennels and facility as needed Launder any soiled guest or facility beds, blankets, or toys Following feeding/medication protocols for guests on a pre-set schedule Managing group play and one-on-one playtime with guests Performing other duties as assigned. We provide training to learn the skills needed to provide premiere care to our guests. Pay is negotiable with previous kennel experience.
