Member Services & Office Coordinator Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce • Elk River, MN Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce • August 19, 2026 Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce Do you enjoy people, details, variety, and being part of a small team that supports local businesses? The Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for a part-time Member Services & Office Coordinator to help keep our office running smoothly, our members supported, and our many moving pieces organized. This is a great fit for someone who likes helping people, keeping track of details, learning new systems, and being part of a fun, member-focused workplace where no two days are exactly the same. This position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Director of Marketing & Events. What You'll Help With This role helps members, volunteers, visitors, and community partners get the information, resources, and next steps they need. You'll also help keep the Chamber team organized by supporting member records, event registration and follow-up, invoices and statements, office systems, digital tools, meeting materials, and routine communications.
Some of the work includes:
Helping members, volunteers, and visitors feel welcome and supported Keeping member records, event attendance, and follow-up details organized Preparing invoices, statements, reports, materials, and routine records Assisting with ChamberMaster/GrowthZone, QuickBooks, Constant Contact, website updates, Yodel, digital sign updates, Dropbox, and Microsoft 365 Supporting events and programs with registration, materials, setup, check-in, and follow-up Helping the Executive Director and Marketing & Events Manager keep projects and details moving What We're Looking For The right person will be friendly, dependable, organized, accurate, and comfortable talking with businesspeople, volunteers, members, vendors, and visitors. We are looking for someone who can work independently, ask good questions, use good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and keep a sense of humor when priorities change. Previous experience in office support, customer service, bookkeeping support, database work, nonprofit work, Chamber work, or small business operations is helpful. Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office 365, email marketing, websites, or database systems is a plus, but we can train for Chamber-specific systems. Schedule This is a part-time, non-exempt position for up to 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Some early morning, evening, or off-site event hours may be needed with advance notice. Physical Requirements This position includes general office work and occasional event support. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation and Benefits This is a part-time, non-exempt position of 20-25 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Hourly wage:
$20-$23 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include flexible scheduling, Chamber-paid supplemental benefits including life insurance, vision, and disability coverage, Earned Sick and Safe Time in accordance with Minnesota law, mileage reimbursement for approved Chamber business, and a fun, community-focused work environment.
