Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Office Assistant to join our growing mental and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with both staff and clients, and able to manage multiple administrative responsibilities in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain and organize client and employee files Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets Review and maintain employee timesheets Perform data entry and general administrative duties Communicate professionally with clients, staff, supervisors, and other professionals Assist with scheduling, documentation, and office correspondence Track required paperwork and follow up with staff when documentation is missing Maintain accurate and confidential records Answer telephone calls and respond to routine inquiries Assist management with day-to-day office operations Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of office or administrative experience Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and electronic recordkeeping Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, or human services is strongly preferred
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable working in a mental health environment. This position requires someone who can communicate effectively with different personalities, stay on top of paperwork and deadlines, and help keep the office running smoothly. Skills Proficiency in MS Office Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements High School degree

$18.00 per hour
