Location of Position Hanover, NH Advertisement Text Position Purpose The Academic Coordinator serves as a member of the Thayer administrative team and coordinates faculty members' academic and administrative support activities according to Thayer's mission, strategy, and institutional priorities. The role provides faculty with administrative support, ensures smooth operations, efficiently implements events, and responds to the needs of diverse audiences. Percent time distribution of key accountabilities may vary based on individual faculty member needs and responsibilities. Required Qualifications | Associates plus 23 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience and skill successfully coordinating highlevel administrative support, managing projects and events, and providing hightouch customer service in a professional office environment.
  • Two or more years of office experience in a related field, with some degree of autonomy.
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Highly proficient with computer applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others as primary means to achieve results.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to become proficient in Dartmouth Financial and Procurement systems.
  • Ability to initiate, process, and reconcile financial purchases, payment requests, purchase orders, and contracts with accuracy and timeliness.
