Job Description
Crouse Community Center, a well-established and highly respected not-for-profit provider serving Madison County and the surrounding region, is seeking a motivated and community-focused Assistant Administrator / Director of Community Based Services. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging leaders, new graduates, and experienced professionals who want to grow their careers in healthcare administration while making a meaningful impact. The Assistant Administrator / Director of Community Based Services will support the CEO in overseeing Housekeeping, Facilities, and our Community-Based Programs, including the Adult Day Health Care Centers and Supportive Living Program. This role offers hands-on leadership experience, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to innovative, person-centered services. Key Responsibilities Operational Coordination — Support the CEO in managing Housekeeping, Facilities, Adult Day Health Care Centers, and Supportive Living operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Team Support & Leadership — Work closely with department supervisors; build leadership skills through coaching, collaboration, and problem-solving. Regulatory & Quality Oversight — Assist with compliance activities, audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives. Program Engagement — Partner with program leaders to maintain high-quality, person-centered services for Adult Day Health Care and Supportive Living participants. Facilities & Safety Support — Help coordinate building maintenance, environmental safety, and emergency preparedness planning. Policy & Procedure Development — Contribute to the creation and updating of organizational policies across assigned departments. Budget & Resource Assistance — Support budget planning, cost monitoring, and resource allocation. Cross-Department Collaboration — Work with Nursing, HR, Finance, and Community Programs to support organizational goals. Community & Family Relations — Represent Crouse Community Center professionally with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies. Must have a strong financial foundation for budgeting, financial tracking, grant reimbursement submission, and new program development. Looking for the right individual that is a natural leader and team builder to ensure our culture in maintained. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, or a Registered Nurse with management experience.
