full-time Administrative Assistant - Jericho, NY A global organization is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its team on an open-ended contract basis. This is an entry-level administrative support role focused primarily on document processing, data entry, scanning, filing, and email communication. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, early-career candidate, or someone with prior clerical or office support experience who is organized, dependable, and comfortable with routine, detail-oriented work.

Monday-Friday, 100% onsite
Hours:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Compensation:
$20-$24/hour
Job Type:
Open-ended contract Responsibilities Receive and process incoming documents and correspondence Enter and track information in Microsoft Excel Scan, organize, and electronically file documents Prepare and mail outgoing documents Use Microsoft Outlook to request missing documentation and manage related communication Maintain accurate and organized records Occasionally retrieve documents from an internal company system Support a small team with general administrative and clerical needs Ensure documents are processed accurately and within required timelines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous administrative, clerical, data entry, or office support experience preferred, but not required Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable and professional with consistent attendance Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized Comfortable working independently in a structured office environment Additional Details This role supports a seven-person team and is best suited for someone who enjoys straightforward, process-driven administrative work. Training will be provided on internal company systems. Parking is available, and the office is also accessible by public transportation.
