The Student Operations Associate provides support to the Events and Building Coordinator and the space planning and facilities management team at the College of Medicine. They are responsible for supporting College of Medicine events and spaces, including setup and teardown of venue furniture and equipment at Hamilton Hall and other College buildings. The Student Operations Assistant will also support general administrative tasks in the Office of the Dean such as data entry, answering emails, maintaining supply inventory, organizing/purging files, and various projects as assigned. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a talented and committed, up and coming professional, whose skills and attitude complement a dynamic, collegial team. Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU. Must have a high attention to detail, be dependable, have the ability to lift up to 50lbs, and the ability to move between buildings and spaces over extended periods of time. Previous customer service, events, or hospitality experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. 7-12 hours/week. Days and hours per week are negotiable based on the student's class schedule.
